they do move fast but not that fast i would guess you have more that one. the best way to get rid of them is to buy a siringe from any local drug store and mix up some kalk in a glass untill it dosent diolve any more then inject the little buggers. they will disolve righ tin front of your eyes.

They are small and light. All they need to do is detach from the rock and drift with the current. I do not beleive they have a Ffoot" to move with. They also reproduce very rapidly. It is difficult to remove them because if yoy injure the aiptasia and rupture any part of it its cellular materaial get in your tank and now you will have 5-10 more from removing the one. That is why they reach plague proportions. It is better to try to seal them in a crvice then it is to try to inject them or remove them. That is what is great about copperbands. If you get a healtyh one they will eat them. They can move quickly and can multiply rapidly. Ever seen that aiptasia tank at Greenwoods.

nothing will eat htem except for a copper band or true pepermint shrimp. i have seen them slideing n rock but i forgot how they detach like any anemonie and float duh. it was late for me lol.

They will likly snack on him. I would say if you have one aiptasia there are more somewhere in the tank. But if they are not interfering with anything let the peppermints eat them up.
