I am building a canopy for my 150 right now. Just taking a break. I went home depot and spent $60 on wood. It isnt perfect, but it looks pretty good so far. Ill post some pictures when i get it all done. I still have to stain it and mount my 400 watt mh. It only took a few hours really. 1x2 frame and 1x12s and 1x6s that you see. I still need to buy an ice cap 430 ballast and endcaps and power compactg lights i think. Im new to all of this so.

I have a 72 x 18 canopy on my 135g. I didn't build it, but a fellow reefer did, nasoisking.

My tank is not up yet, so I could snap some pics to give you ideas on how to build one. I bet Nate (nasoisking) could give you some ideas also. He is a very nice guy and I'm sure would be happy to help.

Let me know if there is anything you would like me to do

SINGMAN,

How high do you need it to be??? I have one that was used on my 135. However it is only about 6 inches high. let me know.
Peanut. I will be putting in my MH's but 6 inches may be Okay. I have the MH's aproximately 4 - 5 inches off the water level now and my corals all seem to have adjusted to the light just fine. Can you send me some pics?
