All of this LR is introducing all sorts of stuff I have never had in My tank, OK so Im not thinking the following is bad But just curious what they are, The are snail looking things that com out usually at night after the tanks lights are off and then 30 or so are all over the glass eating away. They don't look to have a shell at all maybe they do But IM not seeing it. they are all diff sizes and shapes, they kinda look like slugs, I don't see them out in the light only under rocks etc. during the "day" any Ideas what they are? and also I have a few adpststia(spelling?) in the tank on various rocks But I try and Pull them off and they just grow back, so Im thinking a Hypodermic needel and Boiling water and squirt it on or in them? I have heard use lemon juice also before I only see maybe 10 But I wanna get them gone before they go sexual or anything. and finally Bubble algae what eats it what kills it? Its in some nice stands of coral so It cant be brushed off, etc., ( in star polyps, etc.) and with that IM none. LOL thanks for any insights on these 3 things

Slug looking things are probably stomatella. They look like snails without shells and are frequent hitchhikers on lr. I have had luck killing the aptasia by injecting with liquid calcium. I would not use lemon juice. Be careful to get the needle in the ap and not accidently into a coral(been there done that). I don't know about the algae, I never had a problem with it.

The snail looking things sound like abolone's. The boiling water on the aptasia usually works for me. The bubble algae they say emerald crabs eat them, i've never seen that. But I have emerald crabs in my tanks and no bubble algae ,so maybe? Hope this helped.

I agree with goldenj about the snails most likely being stomatella. You can see a little bit about them here. http//www.reefcorner.com/SpecimenSheets/stomatella_varia.htm I have 3 of these myself and they always come out at night. And like reefwonders, I've heard emerald crabs are the best thing for bubble algea. Good luck with the aptasia!
