I'm back....finally!!!

I had several years of keeping both fish only and reef tanks, but I have been out of the hobby for about 10 years now. I see all the advances in technology and methodology and was wondering if the group had some advice to share with the new guy. I purchased a 60 gal used set up with a cpr backpack protein skimmer and a cascade canister filter. I wanted to get a tank with a sump, but the price I paid for the setup was worth making the jump. The tank has roughly 30 lbs of live rock and has been set up since Sunday. Yesterday I noticed some red algae growing on a rock, I am assuming this is cynoalgae??? Isn't this too soon to be happening, am I going to have a dreaded outbreak? Is there anything I can do to slow this down besides water changes?
