Welp after being out of the game for 2 years I'm getting back in the hobby. Picked up a 34g AIO thats from great lakes aquariums.

Gonna go in my room on my dresser.

Nothing setup yet, doing the whole aquire parts first.

-Weekly water changes will be a must. Along with LR rubble in the back chamber and possibly a bag of carbon. Might carbon dose as well to help with nutrient buildup.

Ordered new
-Dry rock
-Sand
-MP10 QD

Used
-AI Prime LED light, will have to get a second one.
-RKL.

Also got new filters for my RO unit thats been sitting for awhile, was hoping they would still be good but after the unit ran for half the day TDS was reading 16ppm so new filters it is.

Stock list plan

Fish

2 fancy clowns
1 dwarf angel either potters or flame.

Corals
DEF want a elegance again
frogs and torches
mix of zoa's.
I know zoa's don't flow, but thats going to be my main goal is flowing corals.

Pics to come this weekend.

[STRIKE]Welp there has already been a change in plans, im going to take out the all in one type system and drill the back for an over flow. Make a stand and have a small sump running.

So this weekend will be mainly making the stand, hopefully drilling the tank.[/STRIKE]

ok so after some thinking i'm not gonna drill it, just got to a point where i was gonna spend more then i ideally wanted too and put more time into building stuff. I want to get the tank going ASAP so im going to stick with the internal filter and water changed.

how it sits so far.

ordered more rock and some rubble for the back chamber area. I'll also throw in a bag of carbon as well.

The LED light is pretty impressive, still on the fence about needing a second one. Controllable via wireless through your home network either web interface or app on phone.

not too much to report, water salt rock and everything is in. Should start cycling today. Gonna get a small piece of live rock from fish doctors to seed the system.

Probably going to do some cable management today as well.

Sounds about right to me.

Been lining up a coral list, on what you plan on adding? Been window shopping while the tank cycles?

What you got in mind so far?
mostly LPS, torch, frogspawn, hammer, elegance. I doubt ill have any SPS.
and then ZOA's as well. I want a lot of moving corals. Duncans as well. Stuff that moves in the current.

i was there the other week looking for something. But i've always liked them. I bought a powder brown from them once and he was pretty healthy and lasted a good amount of time for me until i had a alk crash. They always seem to have fair prices

Their coral selection is a bit weak but not a big deal.

Bought some Wyoming White Clowns, pretty decent price for the pair. Got them on Friday and within a few hours they were eating pellets like champs. being doing great since. Also picked up a nice gold torch. I have my LED's at 60% right now, which might be a bit much as its not fully inflated compared to the store. So i might drop down the intensity a bit.

Will get pictures soon!
