I got a tank and fish from a friend of a friend
and there was a jelly-fish in the bunch i called a few places they didnt know much about them has enyone ever had one or know about them.
and how i need to care for it...[?]

no its a blue jelly about the size of a golf ball it looks like a little pac-man ghost.
but its not upside down. i think it may be died blue.

Whew, sorry I won't be of any help beyond most small jellies eat zooplankton. Good luck, it sounds like you have something really neat.

I think jellyfish need a specially shaped tank called a Kreisel tank. They're round and circulate the water so the jellys can stay suspended with ease. There are plans out there on how to mock up one with a standard aquarium and some acrylic.
