Anybody come up with a solution to their powerheads chopping up their roaming rbta's? I've killed about four of them in the last year, so I removed the tunzes from that side of the tank. Now I have a flow problem and am getting a film on the surface.
I was thinking about maybe wrapping a sponge around the intake, but feel like I'd be cleaning it daily. Any other suggestions?
I did exactly that with the tunze grill. I put it in the other tank and what was left of it, unhinged and hid under a rock. No tentacles, just a lump of flesh. Today I can see clear tentacles growing so it might live.
my nems never wonder, are you giving them decent hiding spots? mina always keep there feet tucked in holes in the rocks, i have one in a flower pot now to make sales easy, it doesnt move either
