ok so I know I used to know the answer to this question.. but its been so dang long since Ive had to use it I forgot.. :D

am I supposed to use latex sealant or a silicon II sealent for something that is going to be in the water of my setup?


heres the deal.. my skimmer base got cracked during our last move and Im finally getting around to fixing it up properly.. but I cant recall which is safest to use..

any info would be awsome..

if its acrylic you can use weldon.

I never heard of using latex, but silicon II always worked for me. Just let it dry completely for a couple of days and make sure it doesn't have any anti-mildew stuff in it. Use the one for windows and doors-not kitchen or bathrooms. And have awell ventilated area-that stuff is powerful.
