Ok so am attaching pics of this finger leather that I noticed has weird marks on it. Cant see any bugs or have not seen anything trying to eat it, but that is what it looks like. Am trying to sell this leather but want to be sure it is healthy. It acts normal, polyps out and all.

My leather also has these spots were it looks like it got a bite taken out of it.


might be normal activity?



Same leather assuming yours is a purple devils hand? wich it looks like to me..

It is either a devils hand or finger leather, I have had it for awhile and dont remember it's name....it was only a inch when I got it.

My .02

I have one xl devil hand and what I think is a finger leather. My devil hand has never done that. However my finger recently went through that. The pieces fell off and are attaching to other rocks. So I'm thinking that is how it reproduces, maybe! When I get back home I was going to look up how leather coral reproduce.
