I am looking at a diy led kit and was wondering if this,kit is to much for my 20 gallon high tank. Im looking to b able to support a mixed reef. The kit is as follows



5.9" x 10" Heatsink drilled/tapped for 24 LEDs and 4 installation holes

12 Solderless Cool White CREE XP-G LEDs

12 Solderless Royal Blue CREE XP-E LEDs

2 Mean Well ELN-60-48P dimmable driver or 2 Mean Well ELN-60-48D dimmable driver

2 Driver Jumper

2 Terminal Plug

22 3" LED to LED Wire

1 tube of Thermal Grease

60mm Vantec Stealth Fan

12V AC Adapter

4 water repellent wire nuts (plus 12 non-waterrepellentwire nuts)

2 power cords to attach to the drivers (US + Canada orders only)

22 feet of bulk wire (if we're out of black we may send blue, red or white wire instead)

Screws (for the LEDs and to mount the heatsink

Any thoughts would b a great deal of help

That sound about right. I would look into optics if its a "taller" tank. (Try to point the light down). I have 10 of each on my 12 nano-cube and have great growth without bleaching.
