Loss power too. Loss no fish we ran shifts lifting water from the tank and dropping it back into the tank to help with circulation. So far so good no fish loss. They look a little stressed but I did not feed and it seems like the power is coming back on now.

I may still yet lose my M. Doreensis (Corkscrew) Anenome. It is is the hospital tank right now but is inside out.

I rejeuvinated my Cleaner shrimp with vigorous airbubbling and circulation when the power came back on at 330 am here in Windsor.

Ok here is my tally , Xenia = Gone, Coral Bueaty = Gone, Leathers = Gone , Spaghetti worms = Gone , Atleast from what I can see 8 snails and 12 hermits = Gone , Lawnmower blenny = barely hangin on , Mandarin = Gone and to top that off I ahve a tank full of dead copepods and amphipods. SO it is definetly a loss for me.

Lost a purple tang, green wrasse, green chromis, cleaner shrimp and perhaps 2 of 5 cardinals (Have only seen the 3), and potentially one of my 2 urchins who isnt looking great but I cant tell if he's dead or not. I'm freezing them to see if I can get some insurance money out of them. Xenia looks pretty bad at the moment, and that blue tipped stag I got from Ken (Mustang) is looking a bit bleached out too. Thankfully I did not lose my 2 clowns. Thats pretty much at least 50% of my bioload. I lost power for a total of 18 hours.

I took pictures Chris! I am going to call ye old insurance company on Monday. I know that the tank is covered on the home owners. this realy bites though. On a happy note I am still on track for opening up the frag pools. I plan on spending some cash to get some rare acropora from the far reaches to frag and ease the pain with.

I wonder what my deductable is. It may not even be enough to get anything out of my homeowners. I have pictures too, but I'm not sure if you can actually see the fish in them! Ah well, I'll give it a shot, and if they wont do anything, so be it.

I had a theft happen last spring. My wife and I went to a two day Medical seminar in LAnsing and our car was broken into. Teh vandal stold our palm pilots, laptops, briefcases at a four staf hotels parking garage.

We did not hace receipts for everything but they still covered it.

I think you should call, My deductable is 500.00 but a pump puked, a tunze puked and retail they are close to that.

Our power was out for 24 hours, 15 minutes. About 5 years ago I purchased a little Hagan battery powered air pump from Foster & Smith ($6 I believe)... it's never been out of the box. Well, I was fortunate to have a pair of new D batteries around, hooked it up, and it did a great job. I also filled an empty B-Ionic 64 oz bottle with water from the sump and dumped it in the tank about 3x per hour (at least when I was awake).

The result knoock on wood, but it appears we have 100% survival. Nothing even looked stressed during the entire outage. I was very pleased, to say the least.

I am glad to have power once again! I must have bailed 100 buckets of water from the house's sump, in order to keep my basement from flooding. Now if I only could take a shower!
