i was running plusrite 250 watts on my tank and had good luck with those and they were only like $13
Metal halide bulb
Would this be a bulb I could trust? I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. 250watt bulbs aren't cheap, so why are these only 20 bucks?

If you hold out for a week i ordered a L-cheap-o bulb for my old ladies tank if you want to come by and check it out. it cost 23.89 shipped
Where did you buy the bulbs from? If I dont order some within the week I might come by and check them out. Your like 5 min away so no big deal
I have been running plus-rite 400watt 20 ks for years!! I change them every 6-7months. Absolutely no complaints. I also got them from eBay for $30 shipped
