The Michigan Coral Expo and Swap (MCES) is the largest reef hobby event in Michigan! MCES is again co-hosted by Mid-Michigan Marine Club (MMMC) and Grand Rapids Marine Aquarium Society (GRMAS). This year MCES will be on Sunday, January 27, 2013.
Attendance last year exceeded 650 hobbyists from across the midwest. There were 45 vendors with tanks full of outstanding corals and fish. Many also had dry goods for sale. Each year has been larger than the last and to accommodate our continued growth, this year we have moved to a larger and much nicer facility. MCES will be in the Grand Ballroom of the Best Western Hotel located at 6820 S. Cedar Street, Lansing, Michigan 48911.
In addition to vendors from across the country, MCES will feature a mini-conference that will occur prior to and during the expo. We also will have an outstanding livestock and dry goods raffle.
There will be an entry free unless you belong to one of the following clubs: MMMC, GRMAS, & MASM.
The Mid-Michigan Marine Club (MMMC) will be holding a membership drive meeting on October 21, 2012 at Pruess. You can also contact Mynemesis for membership information if you are unable to attend.
The tables are disappearing fast!!! If you want a table, reserve now!! Otherwise, if there are no tables available, contact the table reservations to get put on a wait list.
Here is an update for the Michigan Coral Expo & Swap. Still some tables available...but with over 3 months until the event we expect them to sell out so don't wait to reserve your tables.
Cant wait for this event, with so many good vendors in one place it is going to be a SEA of awesome choices. I am looking forward to seeing a thread of what vendors will be brining with them, i will be looking for hard to find SPS. Time to start putting money away for this.
Just a heads up, we are down to 5 half tables remaining (49,52,53,58,59). Once tables are completely sold, vendors can contact me and I will have a wait list for tables in case there are any late cancellations.
Admission this year will be $10 per person, this includes the mini-conference that will be occurring before and during the swap. The first 100 attendees will also receive a goodie bag with a free tee shirt. Kids 16 and under are free.
If you have purchased a vendor booth what time are we allowed to enter and setup? Also what time the does the conference and swap officially start for the public.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could
be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
