In conjunction with our 2nd Annual Frag Swap on February 10, 2008 in Lansing, we are also holding our annual coral and dry goods raffle. For those that attended our swap last year, you will recall that we had one heck of a coral and dry good raffle. Efforts are in full swing to make this year's raffle even better.

Already the following sponsors have generously offered to donate to the raffle:

Cherry Corals
Choice Aquariums
DIY Reef
Marine Habitats
Preuss Pets
Saltwater Fish Guy

We have contacted many other vendors and are hoping to here back from them. As we know more specifics about the items in the raffle, I will post information and photos.

Last year we also had some very generous hobbyists who donated corals for the raffle event. We will gladly accept any donations for the raffle. Since MMMC is a charitable, non-profit organization, we can provide a receipt for if you would like for tax purposes. Please feel free to post here and/or PM me.

Make sure to thank these vendors and mention it to your lfs if you don't see them listed above. Remember that the proceeds from the swap help to further the clubs purposes. Here is an article about our first classroom setup. http://www.lsj.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080122/COMM0401/801220348/1332/dewittbath

Looks like this is the year of the gift certificates....which is perfect because the winner gets to pick their own prize.

I just received notice that Dr. Foster and Smith will be donating a $25 gift certificate.
