Mojano in Refuge

I found a rapidly moving small anemone in my display tank today after adding new frags (zooanthid) last night. It's about the size of the zoos, but definitely an anemone. It looks like it may be a mojano, but is all brown currently.

At any rate, I've moved it to my refuge until it grows and I can positively ID it. Is there any harm in having a mojano in the refuge? Worse case I figure it will split and grow more in the refuge that won't ever reach my display tank. correct?

Yeah i woukd assume youre safe. But if you were to cut it or something i heard they can pop up all around. I dont have any real experience with majanos.

Get rid of it! Even if it gets pissed off it will release babies, they will undoubtedly make it into the display. Do you really want a brown anemone anyway?
Chads got a point. Its a brown anemone.... You can buy a colorful and desirable one pretty cheap on this site. Hell i just got one for free..

Mojano has been moved to spare tank...in sun room...that was 30 degrees last night...with fresh water (no salt). I'm testing how hardy they are. :victory:
