I have a hatite? anemone.. well its base in a tiny hole, I can see a smaller hole on the other side which kinda exposes a small part of the base. I'm wondering ifther anything I can do to get him to lose his grip. Maybe squirting something up there?

I just wanna move him to an area of the tank with less water flow. Hes being pushed down and just doesn't look happy, and I really don't want him on this particular rock anyways.

btw, i tried just pulling and tugging on him, but its a pretty good grip he has, I'm scared i'll tear em in two.

Anemones move wherever and whenever they want. If he likes it their it's probably best to leave him. We have moved ours before and he ends up where he wants to.

It's not good to move them. Leave them, they will go where they feel is the best spot. When you have an anenome, especially one that moves alot, you have to base your tank around it. You can't choose the best spot for it and put it there, just doesn't work that way. I would suggest putting the anenome in first and letting it get settled then put in corals. If you put in the corals first the anenome could cover them smothering them to death. Mine moved for six months before it found the best spot and hasn't moved for the last six months. Touching it and trying to move it will only stress it and make it move more, give it time.
