The other thread was getting long, so I thought I'd start a thread dedicated to this tank.

We're moving to Phoenix in less than 2 weeks and we NEED to sell this tank!

It's a Clarity Plus 125 gallon acrylic tank with blue background and predrilled holes in top (two large rectangles, two skinnier rectangles behind those, and two circles on each end). Tank measures 72" x 18" x 20".

It has scratches in the front and bottom and I've been told that they can be buffed out.

I'm asking $225 or best offer. We need to get rid of this thing!

We are located in St. Joseph, MI. About 1.5 hours from Grand Rapids, MI, 1.5 hours from Chicago, and 1 hour from South Bend, IN.

Thanks!

blix70, you got "snubbed" because you lowballed on the price. I had only put that post up yesterday - why would I take that much off the price already? (as it is, I originally started at around $350 the first time I listed it in a separate post...the $225 price is already $125 lower.)

singman, JD's Fishworld called me and says he wants the tank. He says he'll pick it up this Sunday. If something doesn't work out with that, I'll let you know.

I believe the tank is SOLD. Thanks everyone!

you lowballed on the price
It's amazing what some people offer on stuff. When I was selling an 85g complete system not long ago, I had a price of $600 for a tank, stand, canopy, lights(4-96w PCs), sump, skimmer, heater, and power heads and had people offer me prices like $150 or even one person $100. Now I understand it doesn't hurt to try, but some people want you to give stuff away. The lights alone were worth more then what some offered. I was willing to deal on that price, but not that much.

It was a joke, did you think I was trying to attack or offend you by it? Anyways, I see you edited your snuffed comment....

Realize, most of the people selling things paid alot more money than what they're asking for. Take that as them not being greedy and follow their example.

"make offer" Ok, I offer $3 and a hug. Does that sound reasonable?

HELP, need to contact JD'S FISH WORLD

I was so happy to sell the tank just before we moved to Arizona. We sold it to JD's Fish World for $225. He (Jim Kendall) wrote us a check and said it definitely wouldn't bounce because why would he want bad publicity regarding his new store in Kalamazoo (the "largest" reef shop in SW Michigan).

Well, now that we've settled in an apartment and I am without a job, I needed to take out some $ from my bank account for groceries and lo and behold THE DAMN CHECK BOUNCED!!! And it ended up costing me $10 at my bank too. So I've been trying to contact JD's Fish World and keep running into dead ends. Every phone # is disconnected, etc. Can someone tell me if his store ever really existed, is it still there, can you get me contact info for him??? He seemed like a nice guy at the time, but don't they all.

Here is the bad (dead end) info I have so far:
JD's Fish World, 1306 E. Crosstown Parkway, Kalamazoo. 269-381-2142, 269-679-2577, [email protected].

Thanks for any help I can get with this!
