WELL, my tank is moved. The move took a total of 2hours. That was packing up the rest of my things (2, 150pound bass bins, kitchen tables, television, food + various nick nacks), tearing down the tank AND driving back to farmington hills. I recruited a couple guys from my work. boy did they do good work. I'm still in awe at how smooth it went.
I had my 55 cleaned out and up and running by 1230. I ended up giving a 6" dia sarcophyton leather, a 20pound rock, a bannana wrasse, and a bucket full of sand to MeatWhip. Half of the sand ended up on my buddy deck when the bucket tipped over... That clears me up for a pair of cardinals and a 6lined wrasse. The southdown/silicate sand bed is about 2 inches and already showing "Worm Sign". All the corals made it intact with no damage. I did have a lil bleaching on a seriatopora because it fell down into the sand, grrrr. thats one of the fastest growing corals so i'm not too worried.
i'll send pictures when the water clears
