Did you cycle it before adding the fish?

It looks a little over crowded, so you'll want to make sure you don't get an ammonia/nitrite spike.

Very unique, I've never seen arborvitae used as a macro algae, either!

im using the fish to cylce it now. i hear those plastic fish can be pretty hardy. they dont eat much but i dont really ever feed them. and they love to chase after the taunting red wand.

as for my plastic macro algae, its a pretty slow grower and im not sure if its helping with my phosphates and nitrates.

Nice system! I have always read plastic fish (Polyethylene geofferyi) were not reef safe. But I guess it depends on the personality of each fish.
