usually my crabs wave at the fish when they get to close as if to say "piss off, and leave me alone"

I bought a sally lighfoot about about a month ago and he has grown almost twice the size allready has molted like three or four times it crazy but about a week ago i noticed that he acts strange he takes one of his legs and kind of waves it around is this normal is he kind of telling the fish to stay away what you guys all thnk
