Does anyone know where to get bulkheads? I can get the paint at Sherwinn Williams and the plumbing at HD or Lowes but cant seam to find the bulkheads.

I have a place to get the glass or acrylic, but would like to have a few other options of where to get it.

And last what is everyone preference Glass or Acrylic? I would like oppinions before I make a decision.

Russ,
You are probably looking for a retail location, but I went through Pet Solutions for bulkheads. I think they only want a couple bucks too for just the bulkhead, nut and gasket. If you order by 100 pm, they will usually deliver in the morning the next day here in Mid-Michigan.

Russ,
The bulkheads I got from Pet Solutions are 1 inch diameter and are 2 inches long from the back of the gasket to the start of the threads.
I don't know about overflows in a 90. I have a 60 and I have two in mine but I guess it comes down to how much turnover you want and whether you care about powerheads in the aquarium. I have seen only two in a 90 before but I have seen 3 and 4 as well.

well I dont want power heads anywhere if I can help it. I want all my return lines to go thru the back of the tank and in the front, out of site with syphon holes to prevent back flow incase of power failure. I don't want to rely on check valves either, the for sure thing is for me.

thanks for the help. lot cheaper than the other places I've found.
