For those of you who keep freshwater fish still, does anybody need any flourite/onxy sand? This stuff is expensive! I have lots (80-100 pounds) that I am willing to sell for cheap. Stuff works great for plants and looks much nicer than gravel.

Here was my tank before I converted

Bought a bunch of bad brine shrimp one day and it wiped out my tank in just under 2 weeks. I lost just about all my fish. [-cry] I even successfully bred rainbow fish to adult size for trade-ins!

I was going to put the tank into storage but my husband convinced me to try a saltwater tank, that's when I converted to the reef...

Sorry to hear about the bad shrimp, but something good did come out of it. You got the reef now.And got to join us all here.
