well, let's not get carried away here. Maybe a mention here or there, but there is specific boards for motorheads. (I am not one....yet. I hope I won't turn into one of those fanatical "car people".) I just passed on a cherry 71 Vette a few years ago, and told myself I won't pass on the next one. So here I am...so far so good.

I did, but unfortunately, I could not get it insured in time to take her out. I purchased one other classic, a '66 Chevy pickup, back in Jan. '88 at 500 pm, and proceeded to total it at 730. So I was not about to drive without any coverage for it!
Next year I will be there on 9 Mile with my brother's '69 Roadrunner, looking good and feeling proud!!

Thanx, John. She won't be running any races, as I am trying to keep her as stock original as possible. But she will purr and turn a few heads by the time I am all done with her.

Why are cars always referred to as females???

And again the old threads never die....yes Sondowner, a more money than we know what to do with WOULD be a great idea! I mean, why else did any of us get into reefing in the first place? Who in their right mind would spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars to keep a box full of rocks, water, and animals that resemble plants?

Oh yeah, and a few fish here and there.

Yea but some seem to have the box of rocks, water, and animals, and still spend thousands more on other hobbies like cars, boats, and anything else that takes a good amount of cash. Actually I'm jealous, that is a sweet ride. I love the Camaros and Firebirds of the '60s.I also like the early '70s Chevelles.

Thanx to all for the comments and praise. I did spend money to get her that I shouldn't have spent. But an offer like that one doesn't come around every day, and I had to jump on it when I had the chance.
Unfortunately Jim, she is indeed tucked away for a long winters' nap. (Hence the Aztec....but be nice, she's new too!) Come springtime though, I'll have her out and about with some definate improvemnts, and I'd be more than happy to offer rides to anyone around. You'll for sure see me at some swaps and events with her all shined up and pretty-polished!

Oh how I long for summer again already!!
