If you are just setting up your first reef, I want to donate some very hardy aqua-cultured corals to you. Only have a few to donate for free to a good home. I don't want to give them away to someone to resale them. This is just a goodwill gesture to help out a fellow reefer who's just getting started.

Thanks, Mucho

I guess I have to clarify. I have never heard anything bad spoken about Mucho. It was just a joke. His offer is most generous and I think the last time he sold zoos on here he donated the money to the site. :D :D :D

Mucho Reef, that certainly is a generous offer and I am definitely a newbie and also have an awful lot of live rock to cover yet. Been setup just over 4 months now. Just wish you weren't so far away....rather, I guess it is me who is so far away. Although, I did go to Newts frag swap...so I am willing to drive for coral. Thanks, Lan

Hmm... so what exactly makes a newbie a newbie? I am new-ish to saltwater... Just got my first tank in may, but I've been caring for animals..... of all types (yes children too ;) )... all my life. I have spent alot of money in these past few months, as many here can attest, lol ..... so my tanks are far from bare.

Just for the record, I don't think I would consider myself a newbie... I feel very comfortable with my ability to care for my animals, and in learning anything I need to learn to care for them.

So, am I a newbie or not? :)

I'm not sure what the flack is all about but I have to say from personal experience, that Mucho has been a very kind, generous, patient, and very helpful person. My father and I have been working on our reef tanks for some time. Mucho has single handedly supplied 90% of the materials (substrate and live rock) to put my father's tank together. I finally got to see the rock he got from Mucho last week and it's fabulous. Large and small pieces, teeming with life! He made the pickup convenient by meeting my dad at a location good for both of them and even gave some helpful advice on the best way to transfer the rock.

Best of all, was how he treated my mother. My poor little mom met him at a location (several miles out of his way) to pick up 60 pounds of arogonite. He kindly transferred the heavy bucket out of his car into hers and made the experience very easy for her. For that, I am especially grateful.

For anyone with doubts or bad things to say, you walk alone, my friend. Mucho is a man with integrity and an honest and helpful soul. I take personal offense to anyone who says otherwise.

Wow, I didn't expect that many replies. Unfortunately all the corals are spoken for now. I will start contacting those of you who were first. I hope no one gets offended if they didn't get anything. I will keep you in mind should I have more in the future.

Wish I had seen this sooner. In any case, if you have anything left I would love to have anything that is still available. As Damon says the rock looks really great-just need to get some corals in there.
Thanks for your generous offer.
