A Quick note of Thanks to SkylerGirl for the lead to this Company. North Coast Marines sells Lighting fixtures, Ballast's etc. I recently ordered a retro fit 660W VHO System from them along with a couple 4" Ice cap fans. Well the reflector came on Tuesday the Bulbs on Wednesday. Now for the Ballasts and Fans, soon my corals and fishes are wearin sun tan lotion and sunglasses. Came home from work on Thursday message on the machine from Mark at North Coast wants me to call him. Called Mark he said that he thought UPS. had lost my shipment and that he would send out another package if the orignal did'nt show on Friday. Well Friday came no package so Mark sent out another as he said he would. [-thumbu][-thumbu][-thumbu][-thumbu][-thumbu]

My Question, when was the last time you spent good money at any vendor(s) and they called you when they saw that things did'nt look right in shipping?? North Coast Marines [-angel]gets my business every time if thats the care that they give all there customers nice job Mark and your crew. Thanks for remembering the customer. Yup, I second the "thumbs up" for www.northcoastmarines.com They are only in Ohio, so shipping is not prolonged like it would be from a west coast state.

They do sell lots of goodies and most of the prices seem reasonable. Particularily the vho retrofit kits by hamilton.

I picked up a 46.5" complete with reflector, single hamilton electronic ballast, bulbs and COMPLETELY PREWIRED for $280.00 shipped.

Mark is the sole owner and chances are when you call to place and order, you'll get him on the phone.

If anybody else goes to place an order with this company, try to mention you heard it from me "Sunny from MichiganReefers"....I've been trying to get him to give a discount. Who knows, if enough people order, he may cave in and give a small discount. We can HOPE! [D]
Haa...haa...no big deal[D] He probably wouldn't have given a discount anyway since the pricing is very good!

Is your reflector all wired up? If so, then all you will need to do is plug the plastic male end from the reflector into the female end of the ballast. Voila, let there be light!

It is about as plug and play as it gets! I'd love to check out your tank sometime [)]
