I have a pc 36 watt pc on my fuge-just replaced the bulb maybe 2 months ago. The other day it went REALLY dim-still lights but very little output. I have checked all the connections and they are fine. Is this something normal for pc bulbs? The darned thing cost 26$ to replace.

Any chance you have the old bulb to try in fixture??
Nope
I suppose it could be the fixture-its a few years old but it's a 90-100$ JBJ fixture. It shouldnt be dying after a couple years for that price.
