Sweet looking tank. It appears that you went with a Bare Bottom...? I am think about do the same thing. What exactly do you have for filtration...? Remote deep sand bed or what? Type of skimmer?

Thanks for the very good words, Folks! I appreciate it.

Specs so far are:
2x2x8'
BB
ETSS 800 w/Iwaki 55
Dual 1200gph overflows
1x50g sump/ref with mag 24 return (excess flow teed into other sump)
1x55g sump/ref with mag 7 return
3x55w pc actinics on timer
4x40w NO 10kk (soon to be T5s)
320lbs of LR in tank and sumps
50lbs of LS in sumps (soon to be 200, but added slowly)
3x250w stealth heaters
(in the mail)2xKorolia 4s
Kalk (old school) drip
R/O DI plumbed into reservoir w/float valve
ATO plumbed into reservoir
3 circuits (2x15amp 1x20amp)

It's in the Basement perpendicular to the 100 reef. Both are running. Oh man, can't wait for the electric bill. I changed all the bulbs in the house with energy efficient pcs. Hoping for a wash:confused:

The gfci plug you see is hooked into one of the circuits the tank runs on.

Potential list of inhabitants...well, that's a hard one. It changes daily. It started with a FOWLR, but I keep thinking it would be a shame to waste all that potential coral room. Open for suggestions, but want colorful peaceful fish for sure.

I have to clean up the back before I take a picture. It's a mess and pretty ugly. Not much to look at really. I went frugal and diy on almost everything except the skimmer.

I appreciate the interest very much. This is a great forum!
