I have yet to see plants that one could put in his reef tank like natural see weed or something what can one plant in his reef tank to make it more alive like fresh water has tons of options what do salt water tanks have that is nice .... :eek:

Sargassum and Halimeada Macros are slightly easier to control than the caulerpas in a display tank. Most plants will overtake a reef tank, be eaten by fish like tangs, or grow too large for tanks.

I love my red mangroves.. granted they are in the fuge not our display but they look great add a nice lagonal look to the sump and the roots make an amazing living space for pods and bristle worms..

we have some maidens hair growing in one of our reef tanks that looks pretty cool..

I have some turtle grass and manatee grass in my refugium. However they need a minimum 6" deep sand bed and tang will make short work of them. Very cool though. I would love a display tank with sea grass in it.

can i get a pic of your plants ,? and the tangs will eat what ever they want that is why i would not mind alot of plants anyway ...are they expensive? :cool:
