Hello, would greatly appreciate help. We have a Red Sea Aquarium, the sump has a water level of just over 6”. I’d like to get a skimmer, but everything one I’m seeing, and reading requires 7” or more. I purchased Reef Octopus Classic 110INT 4” Internal Protein Skimmer, but it needed 7-7.5.

This is way I am sure you found one. External might be the way to go. With my skimmer the water height is a guideline. If I go way over it doesn't function. But it will work even a few inches over.
