Deb,

Do you have access to any fluidized reactors besides the phosban?

Hi Tony
Theres a few others I can get, but I'll need to check on pricing and availability for them. Are there any particular brands your looking for?
I'll try to get back with you tonight on it.

Brand doesn't really matter.

I'd just like something clear, with a keyholed lid, and some type of unions on the top.

Preferably larger than a phosban.

thanks

Hi Tony
Checked with several suppliers to see what else is available.
Heres a few at different ends of the price range

Kent Marine
About the same size as the Phosban Reactor
I have one of these and its leaky, have to use it in-sump. I really prefer the Phosban reactor to this one, sold them both for a short time and wasn't impressed with this at all. 44.95

Don't know much about these, and would have to check availability, but the Reef Octopus Calcium reactors and Skimmers are very well built, and what pics I can find of these look to be the same. They also include the pump. I think I have the correct pump size listed, but will check on it if you are interested.
Reef Octopus 4" or 6" diameter w/pump
4" w/OTP 1000 250gph pump 139.95
6" w/OTP 2000 500gph pump 174.95

Theres not a whole lot in between, at least from my sources

I'll call today to see if they are available, and try to get some in to look at. Looks like a much better solution for larger tanks than multiple phosban reactors, and much better quality.

The pump comes with it. I heard back from the supplier and there are a few left right now, but there is a new model coming in about 2 weeks. Wanna wait for the newer one or shall I try to get the current one?

I'm tagging along/interested as well. I have a larger system and didn't want to run 2 smaller reactors. I would wait for the newer ones as well.

Wanted to let you all know I havent forgotten this.
I have several reactors on order, but they arent expected in till March now. They are switching over to a new design and I couldnt get any of the older ones.
I'm waiting on all the new Reef Octopus models and the date keeps getting pushed back.
