I sent my check to him way back in June/July we were all going to do a bulk order before the July frag swap for a refractor. Well My $37.00 check was cashed on 8/13/03 and I have no refractor. I have e-mailed him several times on MR and on his personal email he has listed with no repsonse. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Have your checks been cashed too? Does anyone know who this is and how to get ahold of him?

I just checked my bank statement and sure as hell, my check was cashed on the 16th as well. I have Hondas' addy at home, I'll be running over there in a minute or two. I let you all know what is going on and if I run into him or no....

I did that. He no longer has access to a puter, which is why no one can get ahold of him. I talked with Steve for 1/2 hr, andI know all that is going on. Hopefully, we can still get these things in from him, but as of right now, he has no idea what is up with the shipment. I will be checking RC for info regarding this, and PM to Crazygirl with info as to what is up.

And no, I didn't hit him. Glared a little at first...all is cool.

Nothing to be sorry for Will, all is settled, at least between me and Steve. Hopefully the refractometer guy didn't screw him over, cause when/if they come in, I still plan on getting it from him. Just a little bad timing and miscommunication, that's all.

I also have heard from hondasi831 he is very sorry that this has all happened. He cashed our checks because the check he sent for the refractors was cashed. He has said he will give me my $ back even though he has not received it back from the person he ordered it from. I really feel very bad for him since it seems that everything seems to be going wrong for him at the same time. He is very sorry and hopes that there are no hard feelings. I am just glad to hear back from him and know that he will repay me with no problem.

Thats very cool. What was the deal on the refractometers? How much were they guys?

I hope this matter gets resolved prpoerly. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know. If no one minds telling us how much was Honda gettting there refractometers for with shipping and maybe I can help out with locating a simular deal with one of our sponsors.

I believe the last price was for $37.00 each, which is what I sent to him, and what he gave back to me. I told him if on the chance that he wasn't screwed in the deal and the 'fractors come in, I will gladly pay him for it. We exchanged numbers, and Iplan on staying in touch with him. But anyone checking into other deals would be welcome as well. If this doesn't pan out, I would still like a fractor, and a grounding probe wouldn't be bad either.. Thanx to all for trying to resolve this dilemma.

The latest Dr. Foster and Smith catalogue has a similar deal. I just ordered a automatic temp. correcting refractometer for 39.99 yesterday.
