I am just wondering if any seahorse people are out there? We had a nice thread going a while back. Feel free to comment or ask questions! Also, the group Michigan Seahorses on FB is a great discussion option.

I'm still here. Though I'm doing a last ditch effort to keep my seahorse tank going.
It's been a battle to keep them healthy and I've spent a lot of money to get the water as clean as I can to take care of my horses.

It's a ton of work that's for sure!

It can be challenging

Just when you think things are going well it all falls apart. My canister filter died and I had to get a new one going in a hurry. It took a while but things finally got straightened out. It's really hard when things go wrong.

Seahorses for Sale

Erectus Seahorses ready for new homes. These are captive bred, tank raised, 5 1/2 and 6 months old, and eating frozen mysis. I do have younger ones that will be ready in about a month, too. Price is $65 each, $110 for a pair, or $200 for 2 pair. The guide in the forum has some out of date information. Please do not try putting any of the large seahorses in a 15 gallon tank because they will die! You must have a cycled saltwater tank that is at least 30 gallons for 1-2 seahorses (they do better with at least two in a tank because they are very social). If you have any questions about seahorses please post them here. Serious inquiries only. For pickup only until I get the supplies for shipping. Shipping will be overnight delivery through USPS only. Buyer pays shipping cost which is based on your zip code. I am located in Maple Rapids.

Babies on the way!

My little guy, Victor, is expecting babies again. He is a beautiful yellow Erectus. This is his third pregnancy. He typically carries them for 18 to 20 days. I have not tried raising fry so this will be my first batch. Since he is a small male, I am expecting around 100 babies. Wish me luck!
