Well, those of you that know us will be surprised to hear that we're going to be leaving the hobby for a few years. Don't worry, we already "leased" water space for Hoss at a great home.

Pretty much we're selling everything else. The plan is to have the tank completely torn down on the 22nd. By that I mean, if you "reserve" something and don't show up on or before the 22nd, too bad. I am not willing to take down any hardware or structure rocks until the 22nd. So if you want some huge corals, plan on being in Kalamazoo on that day!

Other than that, if you want something, either call or email me and make arrangements to come get it. We've decided not to ship anything due to time constraints.

Here's our current list of what's left --> LIST O' STUFF

Email or call us if you have questions or want to buy something. (Email address and phone # are on the link)

We'll miss all the fun and excitement.

Thanks for the kind words :) We'll miss the hobby and all of our fish-nerd friends very much! The situation (without going into a HUGE story) is kinda like this... We're moving into another apartment at the start of June. We weren't real fond of the meth lab in our building, nor the management denying it's existance. (See www.thenerdary.com/meth.php) Then we plan to move again in 2 years once Meg is done with her bachelors. So needless to say, we really didn't want to move the tank twice in 2 years (plus the we hope to leave michigan the second move). So we decided to give the hobby a temporary hold, and try to get on our feet (and hopefully a house one day!) before we "dive" back in. :)

We are planning to come to some of the meetings and such just to see everyone.

Meg and Dan, you two will be missed, but I was kind of wondering with Char moving if we would see you guys any more.

Hopefully, you two are just taking a break and thats all, best of luck to both of you.

Dan and Meg are two of the nicest reefers, people for the matter, that I have ever met. Whenever you see them, they are smiling. I'm going to miss you both. I just can't seem to stop crying, can I get a hug somebody !!!!!!! Ok, now that I have buttered you up, got any rare zoos for sale, LOL. I'll check the list. Stay in touch you two. I need a tissue, chow.

Mucho-You are such a darling. You are one of my favorite hobbyists. Dan and I adore you. Don't worry, I promise we shall return to the hobby. We love this hobby far too much to stay out very long. As far as rare zoos go, I'm fairly sure we wouldn't have anything you don't already have. Infact, when we do get back into the hobby we'll probably be contacting you-lol.

The tank is actually coming down at the end of the week. Any interested reefers are welcome to haggle for nice pieces left. Otherwise a new fish entrepreneur here in town is buying all remaining livestock. Contact us by Friday.

Great stuff, and thanks again! I've only been in SW 6 months or so and I have met many nice folks. Too bad I met you on your way out so to speak. If your in MI when you start back up you can count on me for some freebies.

I have no idea. Here's what Marine Depot says about it: http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=AR1111

Everything is gone except:
PFO dual 400 Watt ballast ($125) http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=PF1812
K2R Calcium Reactor ($200)
CO2 tank ($80) (with regulator $100)
Kent RO/DI unit with recharge kit ($120) http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=KM1431
Pinpoint pH controller (probe needs replacement) ($80). http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=AM1311

Please do NOT ask if we will ship, cause we won't. :) We're tired, lazy, and short on time.

Hey Dan
I don't usually like to do this but I need a reactor for my 72 gallon and i cant afford both the reactor and the Co2 container with the regulator so if possible you could go maby to $250 on both of them together i could do it on or After friday and because i need to afford gas to get all the way over to the west side.

I'm not willing to come down on any of the prices only because i feel that they are VERY reasonable. (Not to mention i already had to sell the livestock at prices that almost made me cry) Also, i have had quite a few offers on them.

First come first serve.
