Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? I just noticed it today. Are they eggs? I know BTA will spawn but this seems weird. I have several in the tank but this is the only one with it.
I wish is didn't happen to me. lol I know broadcast spawning can get messy! I will try and document as much as I can. Could be something cool to see unfold.
Its the Males that get messy that's why I asked if you had others in the tank. Lots of speculation on RBTA reproduction. Its very rare to see a female with eggs in our aquariums. Far more common but still rare to see the males let a load go and cloud up the water.
I set up an anemone tank with about 6 or 7 nems and they spawned and there were so many eggs all over the tank and it became a little cloudy, so be ready for a water change
No i ended up taking the tank down a couple weeks later because I had multiple tanks running and was raising some baby Clowns so I didn't have the time needed to put into it
Nothing ever come of this. The nem definitely released the eggs and now I don't know which one it is. I have an idea of which one had the eggs but I'm not sure. I have also been selling these so theirs a possibility that it has been sold. I'll keep you guys updated.
