T5 Lighting

I'm looking for a new fixture, mine is getting to old, and I'm planning on getting T5 lights. I currently have soft and sps corals, and I'm running PC+150watt Halide. My tank is 16" tall, 36" long. Any recommendations? My sps corals are at the top(5inches under water). Could I get away with 2 bulb fixture, or should I go with a 4 bulb? Also, has anyone ever tried Odyssey? They're sold on ebay.

What is the width of the tank. In general you want 1 T5 bulb for every 3" of tank width. If you are going to keep more than a few SPS I would look at a better fixture than the odyessa's. Something along the lines of a Nova Extreme Pro or an aquatinics TX5 or a Tek fixture would serve you really well.

It's 18inch wide. I don't plan on keeping many sps, I just happened to get ahold of these.lol
A good 6 bulb unit would allow you to keep anything you want. A 4 bulb unit would probably work with careful placement of high light demanding critters.

a 4 bulb would work just keep sps at top and just keep them more towards center of tank. a 6 bulb would be ideal but if your not planning on goin all out with sps its also not neccesary as for the odyssey they have very mixed reviews but all reveiws say the bulbs are terrible so after new bulbs and fixture your gonna be about the same as a better fixture that comes with decent bulbs
