Hoping you guys can help me. I am just setting up a macro algae/copepod farm setup in a 10 gallon tank. I was hoping to put some sort of livestock in there that is actually interesting so that I'm not just looking at macro algae. I just picked up a 10 gallon tank. I will be adding dry sand and cultured live rock to the tank. I also plan on adding some macros right away. I hope to make it a lush macro algae and copepod haven, but I would love to have a fish or some other moving livestock in there that won't eat the copepods. I thought herbivorous blenny possibly, but I won't have a hood on the tank, so I'd like something that won't jump. I know, tall order, but I thought maybe someone would have an idea for me. Thanks!

I keep sexies. I've never seen them eat copepods. Mine eat what I feed my corals. They breed in my tank, but this is new behavior for me. You might also want to look into bumblebee shrimp as well. They're more shy than sexies but are more active in my opinion. Don't believe what you read about them only eating starfish. Mine prefer my coral food over the astrina stars in my tank. They will eat starfish. It was always interesting to watch how the bumblees interacted with my harlequin when I fed it a chocolate chip.
