I am looking for a replacement transformer for my RO booster pump its 120av to 24ac i cant find one anywhere......

how many amps does it need to be good for? I have some.

this one is good for like 30amps. You need something that big or smaller?

way smaller the one i have that stoped working is a class 2 33.5 watts 833 mA

ok let me look around, But the higher amp ones will still work they only put out more amperage if needed.

you can order them from newark or digikey but let me look around some.

By the way I use those big ones in my solaris light knock off.

Jarrod, I keep them in my van, give a me a call. Standard 24v 40va transformers are used on furnaces, AC, and humidifiers. I've got 5 or 6 in the van all the time.

If you need an incased one or a wall wart style I found a couple rated at 1.5A.

ya the one i have in incased and wall mounted style.. just the bloack box with the two prongs coming out for the plug and a long wire with two ends for hooking to the pump..

Wow, well with those you can go higher Amp not lower so just get a 1 amp.
or like I said, I stock the 40va ones in my van but you'll have to hardwire it together. It'll work......with some work. LoL LMK

still looking or anyone have any other ideas i foudn the company that makes them but they do not seem to make them anymore and another company sales them but has none is stock

When searching for one, The 24v is what you need. The amp rating can be higher on your new transformer. Your pump will only draw the amperage it needs. So if RadioShack has one that is 24v and 1.0 amp or higher, that will work just fine!

the problem is not finding a 24v one its finding a 24v AC one... i found one on ebay i orderd so we will see if it works when it comes...
