Make me an offer, I was told its worth $100 but don't know what it is called. Approximately 8inches by 8 inches

Texas trash. Grows like weeds. Worth about $40. You could always cut it up into frags, great coral for newbies just starting out. :)

It's not Texas trash. Texas trash is a paly that doesn't polyp out from a mat like these are doing if you look closely. It's a Caribbean Sea mat

I had some years ago that grew from a mat just like that, can't remember original name but was told by many people later down the road that they were Texas trash. My green button polyps grow both ways in my display tank too, single polyps and in mat form. Not saying you're wrong, and not saying I'm absolutely correct, but I have seen them grow both ways.

I have that stuff all over my tank, once I think I have gotten rid of it.... It's back..

Would be great for a fish only display..

Minimal care and pretty much bulletproof..

Jason is right. Caribbean Sea Mat - Palythoa caribaeorum. Texas Trash are a species of Protopalythoa.
