OK i have an issue with Vermetid snails. I lost a colony of Zoas and couldnt figure out why. but just realized it was the Vermetid snails that covered them with the mucus they secrete to catch their food. They are the lil red/brown tubes growing all over the rock.

I have heard super glue, smash them... But that seems only take care of the ones you can see. Whats some success stories that worked to eradicate these ********.

It is pretty unlikely that the vermatids were the problem. They might irritate the zoas a little, but that number wouldn't wipe out any colonies. Judging from the algae, I'd guess there is a bit of an unbalance in the water chemistry. How long has the tank been set up, and how are any other corals in there doing?

I've found that zoa's can grow great in most conditions, but can be susceptible to stuff when things get out of whack, disappearing in a few days or a week in less than optimum conditions.
