and a store that sells nice sumps cheap (yeah i know that nice and cheap arnt in the same cat)

Cheap VHOs won't have an internal reflector, therefore more light is lost, and not reflected into the tank.
As far as a cheap sump, just use a glass tank. Any custom job isn't gonig to be cheap.

Actually you can get a custom sump really cheap. Check out my post about cheap acrylic tanks, follow the company website to his calculator. Get exactly what you need.

Cheap is in the eye of the beholder. I just ordered my custom sump from the same place Sylock mentioned. Mine will be $220, but it is cheap because the comparable units are $550+.

That's true, I thought mine was cheap, but I made the whole thing out of acrylic for about $90.

thanks guys but i just went to pet connection and got a pretty good deal on the lights and i think i found a guy that is far priced on custom sumps and not real busy so i can get 1 soon

from what I have seen there prices are quite a bit higher and there shipping is horendous (price wise)
