As PH controller? Bad mojo. If you have a PH problem, which is usually linked to an imbalance with Calcium and Alklinity, then fix the problem, not the result. One malfunction and your ph could really be screwed and you tank as well.

If not for that, then never mind. The only use for them is in Calcium reactors.

I was reading you can hook up ozone to your skimmer. I got a berlin skimmer with the package buy and the manual said you could hook it up to the skimmer. All you needed to do was make sure you passed the water through carbon and you would be good to go.

On the other hand, I don't know anyone who is using ozone!!

Be very careful with this stuff, when I had my 180 at home, I too fell for this sales gimmick, just had to have it,set it up and within days my wife and kids started having nose bleeds.I told them they were all nuts, but after I threw the unit away, all was well with them again. jsut my 2 cents.

it sure is hard to KISS* in the face of so much equipuipment available and people saying you need this and that and this is the latest and greatest.

stick with what is tried and true and you can't go wrong.

I agree if you are using it to controll a ph problem you need to do some resarch and fing the cause of it. Plus, to much ozone wil CLEAN your tank!!!! Bacicly it will kill everything in the tank if there is to much injected.
