Locally Stingray Bay on 9 mile carriers them and Atlantis Fish Shoppe on 14 mile. They run between $35-$100 each depends on the size, color and species. Atlantis seems to have a better price, but also smaller and more plain varieties. Right now Stingray has some very nice ones in stock at around $90. Some small colorful ones and extremely large Kelloggi's (or so I was told that's what they were). I think Atlantis is out right now. They both seem to get some in every week or so.

Be warned, you're not going to get a clear answer on whether they are wild caught or captive bred and exactly what breed your buying. Many seem to be wild and need to go thru an extensive de-worming and quaratine regiment to increase survivabilty. De-worming meds have to be given thru gut loading live food or soaking frozen. But the switch to frozen mysis can be tricky. Which means live food must be fed until (or if ever) they make the switch.

Generally your options are either H. Erectus or H. Kuda's. But you could end up with H. Kelloggi or H. Comes (both which tend to be harder to keep alive).

And if you're thinking about dwarf's at all. They MUST be fed daily enriched LIVE baby brine and generally need a 3-5 gallon tank. So plan on having someone feed them when your out of town or they won't survive a long weekend without food. Also they breed like guppies.

Online, seahorsesource.com seems to be highly respected and seahorse.org for information.
