[Gr8birds]

Found this on my clown over the weekend. She doesn't seem to be acting weird and is eating normal, feisty as ever. No one else in the tank has anything that looks like it and everyone is very healthy. Could it be a pinch mark from an emerald crab? I know it's not ich or the lymphblahblah. Water parameters are great. The only other thing I think might be my gbta just split so maybe an injury from that? It actually looks like a zit ready to pop. I've read many different articles but no one seems to know what it is. Most say it will go away on its own. I have been adding some Lugio's since I noticed it. Just wondered if anyone else has seen or dealt with this. Thanks!

I believe this is a minor skin infection. The original wound could have come from scraping the rock or getting too close to the crab. Normally it doesn't need treatment if the fish is in good health otherwise. I have had three fish come in with spots like these and with time, good food, and clean water they clear up.
