I just got my Retro kit from DIY reef, hooked up everything and nothing? I'm baffled

What am I missing? it's probably something so simple it's pathetic

Is your bulb pushed all the way into the socket?

double checking everything as we speak, ididn't want to push too hard, i didn't buy an extra

Best way is to press down on both ends at the same time with your thumbs. It should seat firmly in the sockets.

Deb, i'm an idiot, yeah it was a loose connection. Thanks for the awesome product, how would you acclimate your corals coming from PC lighting?

i would do about half the time the coral had on PCs on the New Lights and work your way up about an hour a day to the period you want

I would use about 4 layers of fiberglass window screen, removing a layer every 3-4 days.
