Well,
I just checked with my vet, to which my wife brings our cats about interceptor. The tech answered the phone and wouldn't let me speak with the vet. I went through the very long explanation and stated it was for a coral infection and gave her the information and the technician said the vet said "I won't prescribe a medication for a marine environment because I don't treat fish." The tech. just didn't want to deal with it I guess. I realize the vet probably didn't know what was going on but it does encourage me to look for another vet. This is after receiving a $210 vet bill the other day.
Maybe a good way to look at it is the vet was just trying to be ethical and didn't want to prescribe medication for a purpose he was unaware.
I guess I place an order with Canada and more American dollars go north of the border.
