Thanks Sue!:)

And that's the magic that can be done with soft corals. I love it! I think softies are way underrated and can be very well done. You proved it. Congrats. I only have 5 softies in my mixed reef, but they get the most attention from visitors out of all my corals. After seeing your setup, I'm in the market for more.

You da Man!

Thanks for the compliments guys!:)

The Mandarin has been in there over a year. She has plenty of LR to graze on. She may take some of the frozen food - not sure though. She always comes out front when I feed the other fish.

So far mine has been great. He is also the smallest fish in the tank I think. One of my clowns might be smaller. We'll see how he does the more he gets settled in. He is getting along good with the Coral Beauty as well. I think they have plenty of room in the tank, so territory won't be an issue.

Tank Coming Down

As some of you may know, I have decided to take the tank down. This has been a really tough decision for me. I recently had a good flood caused by an auto-top off not shutting off - while we were away for the Memorial holiday. The water ruined all the flooring in front of the tank -total with flood repair guys and cost of new flooring was almost $4000 - all covered by insurance - but what a mess and hassle. That was the third auto top-off related incident. with all the travel I do for work, it has become too big of a concern.

Plus, I live in a small house, and the tank just added too much moisture to the air - condensation everywhere, especially in winter - dehumidifiers didn't really help either.

And current economic conditions have my job walking the razors edge as well. And this monster wasn't cheap to operate. I may have gone a little too big in my last upgrade.:)

Anyways, I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone here who has contributed to this dream tank. All the help, support, and information from you guys (and gals) here at MR has been worth its weight in gold. Its a really great community, and hopefully I will be back in it (on a smaller scale of course). Take care all. I'm sure I will keep participating in the forums, and offer advice where I can.
