Please be aware that "teacup" stingrays are simply very young freshwater rays, They can be difficult to care for and if properly cared for can get quite large in time.
If you are serious about keeping these fish, do some research before purchasing.

A teacup stingray is not just a name for a young ray. They are a actual ray just like a motoro. And they are easier than a motoro stingray to take care of.A teacup is what i started with 14 years ago when i first got into freshwater rays. They will get just as big as any other freshwater ray out there. But i do suggest that if this is your first ray you do need to get a book and talk to somone who is well informed about them.Hear are 3 different people to talk to about them if your interested.

Casey at anchorbay aquarium.he got me started with them 14 years ago.

Pat at amazon stingrays. He breeds motoros and is very knowledgeable.

Greg at stingraybay aquarium.he also breeds a pair of leos and is very knowledgeable.
