eBay links are like Best Buy receipts - a mile long.

Anyhoo, they don't look like MHs to me - they look like PCs. Gonna be a pain to clean with those plastic protectors over the lights.

I also don't buy anything from people who have neg points....that's just me.

Odyssea fixtures have not had a good reputation. Do a search on them you will find a lot of negative . The price you pay 229 sounds great. Once you open the fixture, plug it in, you realize the bulbs are crap. Then you spend $ 80 to $100 on a new MH , and another 50 or so on power compacts . Now you are up to 380 and the mh ballast is junk. Another thing that I noticed on odyssea stuff is some things are not UL listed. I would stay away , unless you are not worried about quality

Lights

Thank you for all the input, I did some research and have decided not to go with that fixture. I was trying to save some cash because I bought a used 8 bulb t5 system off of someone on this site for 200. I fired the light up for the first time and it sparked and smoked up. It blew a circuit breaker in my house, the light had two blown ballasts and four out of the 8 sockets were fried. Any recommendations on a good quality t5 system 6 or 8 bulb unit.

I just purchased the dual 250w w/ 12 lunar led 48" metal halide light from aquatraders. Should be here any day now. I read the reviews and it seems their quality issues arent completely worked out but the fire issues seem to be. I'm capable of rewiring ballasts and end caps so that part of the fixture didn't scare me off. Plus you can't beat $232 shipped. I'll post up pics when it arrives.

I have the 48 inch2x 250 m/h and moonlights fixture its great its built well draws around 260 watts on my watt meter. The bulbs are also good i have another brand in my other fixture and they look as good i dont have a par meter though.Im buying another when they are back in stock
