I am in the process of planning out a 3 ft cube tank and was wondering about wavemakers.
Some options I was considering was
1) a SCWD hooked up to the returns, but I don't know if I can push enough flow to make that worthwhile...
2) Brad at Aquarium Warehouse is setting up a similar tank with a wavysea... which from what I can gather from their product info page is an electronically controlled swiveling return... similar to a seaswirl? (check it out at wavysea.com)
3) I saw a product called wave2k which draws water in from the bottom of the unit while discharging water from the top, then doing the opposite, creating something very similar to natural wave action. (check it out at wave2k.com)
Any thoughts or comments would be great.
Has anyone had experience with these products and what are your thoughts?
