To be honest Todd, I haven't used "that" one yet, but I have one just like it at home and it has no problem. It was suggested by a bunch of vendors on CZ, seemed to be a better built model than the one I have at home that sized up after about yr of fragging w/ saltwater.

Hopefully this sunday I will get to play with that one. I know they work great on most LPS, but have to shave/crack the rock they are on apart from them and then just cut through there skeloton. The blade will cut through rock also but will just dull it faster.

May have to bring in the tile saw for the back room once in awhile to get through the thick stuff?

 

Brent, how is that band saw working out? I was there when Dave was opening it up.

The blade didn't look very stout but hey if it can cut glass it should be able to cut coral right?

 

For sure man or if you and the lady want to spend the day down there shoping and what not swing by sunday, you know me I'll be fraggin stuff for everyone off the cool stuff that they have!

Should have some really sweet stuff in this week!!!

PLUS MY NEW TOY!! A band saw that has a tile cutting dimond blade for cutting frags, whooohoooo!!!

There is a really sweet piece in the coral tank very simular to mine, need some TLC and would stand out like a sore thumb in you tank!!!

I am thinkin as I was looking through the store maybe a spot for some Zoas, some nicer pieces. What kinda Zs or Ps and what kinda prices would be buyable? (NOT FREE)
Do you buy 2-3 polyp frags?
What about a Frag tank w/ lot pricing?
Like $15 each 3-$40, 6-$60?

I am just brain storming to my self....... not saying anything will come about but input and feedback is always helpful.
